Wicker Suite is one of the most exciting new acts in Australian country-roots. This 2x CMAA Golden Guitar-winning duo brings together the immense talents of Liam Kennedy-Clark— the honest singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist—with the spellbinding artistry of Gabi Louise on fiddle. Together, they create a sound that pushes the boundaries of country, folk, and bluegrass, while staying true to the traditions of acoustic storytelling.
2025 for the duo has been full of suprises, as well as dedication to their passion of performing and writing country-roots music. Wicker Suite’s The Way That It Was Tour proved a heartfelt triumph—a revival of Australia’s country-hall spirit that felt both nostalgic and electrifying. Their seamless blend of fiddle, guitar, and harmony filled intimate halls across NSW and VIC with warmth and energy, showcasing exceptional musicianship and storytelling that left audiences deeply moved and utterly charmed.
This tour commenced just a week after Wicker Suite's fiddler Gabi Louise shone alongside Keith Urban on the Australian leg of his 'High and Alive' Tour, the reelase of their single "The Way That It Was (An Ode To A Small Towne)", and Wicker Suite's debut at The Gympie Music Muster in Amamoor State forest.
