Wicker Suite is one of the most exciting new acts in Australian country-roots. This 2x CMAA Golden Guitar-winning duo brings together the immense talents of Liam Kennedy-Clark— the honest singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist—with the spellbinding artistry of Gabi Louise on fiddle. Together, they create a sound that pushes the boundaries of country, folk, and bluegrass, while staying true to the traditions of acoustic storytelling.

After years of performing and recording with Australia’s biggest names, including Lee Kernaghan, Birds of Tokyo, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley, Gina Jeffreys, Adam Harvey, the two joined forces to create something of their own: music about the life they live and breathe. So, it was in the rare quiet moments between tours that Wicker Suite was born, a project so innocent yet virtuosic that is fast becoming one of the most electrifying forces in Australian country-roots music.

 

Their debut album, THIS IS WICKER SUITE, made a bold statement, peaking at #19 on the ARIA Country Music Charts in 2024, winning Bluegrass Recording of the Year (Old Pickup Line) and Instrumental Recording of the Year (Ghost Train) at the 2024 Country Music Awards of Australia, and cementing their place among Australia’s most exciting new acts.
