Wicker Suite are an award-winning country-folk duo led by Australian fiddler and vocalist Gabi Louise and New Zealand singer-songwriter and guitarist Liam Kennedy-Clark. Together they blend country, folk and bluegrass into performances that are both electrifying and deeply heartfelt. Their sound pairs masterful musicianship with story-driven songwriting, moving seamlessly between tender ballads, feel-good originals and blisteringly fast fiddle tunes.

Three-time CMAA Golden Guitar Award winners — most recently taking out Instrumental of the Year for their composition “Lyrebird” — Wicker Suite have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting country-roots acts. Before forming the duo, both artists toured extensively with leading names including Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, and more, bringing years of stage experience to their own project.

Their debut album, THIS IS WICKER SUITE, made a bold statement, peaking at #19 on the ARIA Country Music Charts in 2024, winning Bluegrass Recording of the Year (Old Pickup Line) and Instrumental Recording of the Year (Ghost Train) at the 2024 Country Music Awards of Australia, and cementing their place among Australia’s most exciting new acts.
On stage, their connection is undeniable. Wicker Suite’s live shows feature a diverse program of original songs and instrumentals, blending country, bluegrass and folk influences. Their performances move fluidly between easy-listening folk classics, feel-good original songs, and traditional bluegrass and Celtic instrumentals, showcasing both technical skill and musical restraint. Interwoven throughout are stories drawn from their lives on the road and the histories behind the songs they perform, delivered with warmth, humour and sincerity.
Currently touring across Australia and New Zealand on THE WAY THAT IT WAS Tour, with new music and a forthcoming album on the horizon, Wicker Suite continue to build powerful momentum — winning over audiences night after night.
