Wicker Suite, one of the most exciting new groups in the Australian roots scene, combines the immense talents of singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Liam Kennedy-Clark, and the mesmerizing fiddle virtuoso Gabi Louise. This 2x Golden Guitar winning duo with their boundless creativity and genre-defying approach, transcends the boundaries of traditional country, bluegrass, and folk, leaving audiences captivated by their impressive sound, creativity, and performance.

As session musicians by day, playing in bands for some of the biggest names in Australian country music, the seeds of Wicker Suite were sewn in the off-periods of touring, resulting in the creation of Liam and Gabi’s first instrumental masterpiece, titled "Wicker Suite" in 2021. This epic tune-set is a brilliant fusion of diverse musical styles, embracing intricate time signatures, key changes, and grooves. As a testament to the duo's extraordinary creativity, this composition earnt them their first nomination for Instrumental of the Year at the 2022 Country Music Awards of Australia, and inspired the duo create their own country-roots group; thus Wicker Suite was born!

Wicker Suite has since produced their debut album, "This Is," released on the 29th of September last year. Collaborating with some of Australia's finest instrumentalists, this album features a sublime blend of songs and instrumentals, perfectly encapsulating the distinctive sound of Wicker Suite, and taking listeners on an enthralling musical journey. “This Is” has since taken out Bluegrass Recording of the Year (Old Pickup Line) and Instrumental Recording of the Year (Ghost Train) at the 2024 Country Music Awards of Australia, and peaked at #19 on the ARIA Country Music Charts.
